Is this a subscription?
No. Maintainr V1 costs £79 once for one Maintainr server installation. It includes unlimited equipment, unlimited staff and all Maintainr 1.x updates.
Where is my data stored?
On your main Maintainr PC, in a local SQLite database. You control that computer and its backups. No cloud account is required for normal use.
Do staff need to install anything?
No. Staff open Maintainr in a browser on a phone, tablet or laptop connected to the same local network as the main PC.
Does each employee require a licence?
No. One licence covers one active Maintainr server installation. Unlimited staff and personal PIN users are included. Staff client devices do not consume licences.
Does Maintainr work without internet?
Yes. Normal use happens on your local network. Paid activation needs an internet connection once; after activation, Maintainr verifies its licence locally and continues working offline.
What happens at the 10-equipment trial limit?
You can keep using the existing equipment, checklists, schedules, faults and history. Adding more than 10 active equipment items prompts you to upgrade. Purchase and activate a licence to remove the equipment limit.
Can I move my licence to another PC?
Yes. An admin can deactivate the old server before activating the licence on another PC. One licence allows one active server installation at a time. Move or back up your maintenance data separately.
Does the main PC need to stay on?
Yes. It hosts Maintainr and the local database, so it must be running and connected to the local network while other devices use it.
